Sue's old car, and Roger's current bike

Ford 100E

We got the car from Cornwall, and after the journey home we stripped it down and started work.

Recovered the seats.

Balanced the propshaft

Replaced or rebuilt the entire braking system - Brakes are heavy, but work

Replaced the indicator stalk

Replaced the differential with a 1:3.7 (instead of 1:4.11) - Cruises better now

Fitted a tow-bar so that we can drag the trailer tent to shows

Done a partial re-wire - we now have a fuse box !

Sue

I have been involved in Rodding for over 20 years. I was a member of the Victory Wheelers Custom Car Club for 16 years and I have been a member of the Watford Rods since 1997. Although I didn't get my first Yank until a few months before I joined ! I have partied at many Rod Runs in the UK, in Belgium and have helped put on many shows. Although I am mainly interested in American Cars, (My dream car is 1964/5 Mustang) I appreciate Rods, Customs, anything really, especially if it has a V8 in it.

Roger

I've been dropping in on the custom car scene on and off for years, including the Nationals at Bruntingthorpe, and several of the Hayling runs.

While I appreciate many of the cars, and much of the hard work involved. I've never quite sorted out a car. Crazy bikes keep winning my finances...

That might change this year, but probably next, watch this space....

The Trailer Tent

We didn't have a rod for a while, so we got a trailer tent for the 2002 season's shows. The flowers had to go, after many hours and what seems like acres of fabric including 19 yards of special material from California it made it's debut at Drayton Manor, and won a special award !.
